node50.html Legal aspects Because collaborative research is one of the aims of the program, commercial interests and intellectual property rights are expected to play an important role. It is important that all parties involved specify their intellectual property rights and their wishes towards confidentiality as soon as possible after a project has been funded. This specification should take the form of a collaboration agreement, signed by all the parties involved. Research results are joint property of the Technology Foundation and the academic partner(s), according to the standard Technology Foundation STW/NWO knowledge trade policy [38].

Sentinels: a Dutch research program on security in ICT, networks and information systems. It is being financed by the Ministery of Economic Affairs, the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research Governing Board (NWO-AB), and the Technology Foundation STW.
